**Talent Acquisition Coordinator**
**Pay Range:** $24-$28/hr
**Contract:** 6 months with possibility of extension
**Work Location:** Lake County, IL (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
**About the Role:**
As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our recruiters and ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process. Your responsibilities will include managing interview schedules, coordinating candidate travel, and ensuring accurate data entry in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). You will be the bridge between candidates, hiring managers, and administrative staff, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Promptly contact candidates within 48 hours of receiving schedule requests and arrange all necessary travel and accommodations. Process expense reimbursements efficiently.
- Ensure timely distribution of interview evaluation forms and maintain accurate interview schedules. Keep recruiters informed about schedule updates and address any scheduling obstacles.
- Update candidate statuses in the ATS (SmartRecruiters) and upload interview schedules.
- Engage with hiring managers and administrative assistants across all levels of the organization.
- Manage pre-employment screens, including background and drug tests, to completion.
- Deliver high-touch customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and administrative staff, ensuring a positive experience.
- Share weekly scheduling volume and assist colleagues to ensure even work distribution among the coordinator team.
- Personally escort high-level candidates (grade 24+) through their interview day to enhance the candidate experience.
- Lead hiring events, including scheduling, travel coordination, event planning, and debrief sessions for complex hiring initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus in Human Resources being advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in staffing coordination or a HR-related environment.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent customer service abilities, including phone etiquette, attention to detail, and follow-up.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Proficiency in databases and MS Office products.
