  Summer 2025 - Flight Operations Intern  in GAC Savannah

Unique Skills:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. This position will support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across the company's Gulfstream fleet.
2. Interns will interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specific Gulfstream fleets (e.g., production test, demonstration, Airborne Customer Support).
3. Complete assigned projects and work plans that include - but are not limited to – flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
4. Support efficient work practices and processes.

 

Additional Functions:

1. Comply with safety rules and procedures.
2. Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

1. Currently pursuing a bachelor or master’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Graduation date must be on or after August 2025. To be considered for a summer 2025 internship, applicants must plan to graduate from their current academic program after August 2025 or plan to continue their education in Summer or Fall 2025 (i.e. bachelors to masters) . 
2. Knowledge and understanding of multiple operating systems and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
3. Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at time of application is required and must be listed on the submitted resume.
   1. Resumes without a GPA will not be considered.
   2. Transcripts will be checked, and we do not average transfer credits from one institution to another.
   3. Freshman should list their high school GPA.
   4. New graduate students, please list undergraduate GPA.   
4. Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and be available for at least a 12-week internship - May/June - August/September 2025. 
5. Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work.

 

Position will be posted until 11/3/2024. Interviews will be ongoing.
