Staffing Agency Healthcare Recruiter and Business Development Specialist
We're in search of a dynamic individual to join our staffing and recruitment department, bringing experience in all facets of agency staffing and recruitment, including business development specialist. We're looking for a true people person, someone driven by a passion for excellence. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in expanding our lines of business through recruitment, digital media, branding, community outreach, business development, and sales.
This is not a remote position. You must be local to the Charleston SC area and will be required to work in office.

As a Healthcare Recruiter and Business Development Specialist here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:
- Assists in developing strategic recruiting plans, utilizing creative and cost-effective methods.
- Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies.
- Assist in establishing best practice recruitment efforts and adjust recruitment strategy as needed.
- Lead the candidate relationship process to improve the candidate experience, retention rates and solicit referrals.
- Create engaging recruitment-marketing, from job descriptions and live events to campaigns that drive candidates to the company.
- Assist with coordinating recruitment advertising, to include creating and posting job openings and the use of Internet recruiting tools.
- Conduct employment verifications, full credentialing, all prescreening components, and tailoring job descriptions and offer letters.
- Assist with all aspects of staffing schedule.
- Assist with implementation of staffing scheduling platform.
- Assist with maintaining accurate information in staffing scheduling platform.
- Assist with staffing assignment matching.
- Creating and updating client information sheets for internal files and staffing employees
- Verify licensures and credentials for nurses and other healthcare providers.
- Assists with managing all electronic onboarding, processes, and timelines.
- Develops and manages all aspects of Digital Marketing Strategy to include, but not limited to website, social media, online review management, drip campaigns, quarterly success stories, and blogs.
- Conducts market and competitive analyses to identify existing opportunities for growth within staffing service line/ calls on and develops relationships with prospective clients.
- Assist with developing and implementing business strategy with staffing administrator, developing plans, analyzing data, and aligning goals to achieve objectives through recruitment, sales, account management, and business development.
- Developing community partnerships for staffing sales/contracts
- Establishes and maintains contacts and relationships with referral sources for staffing, including but not limited to clinics, hospitals, skilled and other nursing facilities, community resources and others appropriate targeted markets and service lines.
- Prepares and conducts presentations regarding Interim HealthCare to organizations where prospective clients might be reached or influenced.
- Implements account development strategies/contracts to sell to and secure growth in the staffing business line.
- Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
A few must-haves for our Healthcare Recruiter and Business Development Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related subject or equivalent years of training and work experience.
- Five (5) years successful recruitment, marketing, and sales experience with comparable customers, preferably healthcare services.
* Agency sales experience preferably in clinical staffing with extensive knowledge of the Charleston market
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels within and outside the company.
- Demonstrated familiarity with medical staffing and recruitment, referral sources and market.
- Computer and Internet literacy.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational and detail skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals under short deadlines, changing priorities and minimal resources.
- Proven ability to work independently or with a team and be highly motivated
