Title: Senior Accountant (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

Compensation: $35 - $40 / hour depending on relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential improvements.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review and approve adjusting journal entries and accruals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 + years' of experience working as a Senior Accountant
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
