Job Description

Position: CDL School Bus Driver

Compensation: Pays up to $30 per hour (Depending on SCHOOL BUS DRIVING experience)

Work Hours: Full-Time

Reports to: Transportation Manager

If you or someone you know enjoys working with children, has a mature attitude, and the flexibility to take on a part-time or full-time job we are hiring CDL SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS. 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Passenger and School Bus endorsement
• Previous experience as a School Bus Driver is preferred
• Good vision and hearing, mental alertness, dependability, neat appearance
• Familiar with various bus routes in the district and stopping routes for students
• Cooperative attitude in working with students, school personnel and co-workers.
• Good general intelligence and good knowledge of the geography of the city
• Ability to follow instructions, observe and take initiative where help is needed.

Standard Requirements:

• Favorable Criminal Background Check (SBI & FBI), Motor Vehicle Record Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check for the candidate who is offered employment
• Criminal Background Affidavit
• Tuberculin Test, Drug Test, and Physical
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Delaware School Bus Driver Physical
