Job Title: Salesforce Data Cloud Architect

Job Summary:
Client is looking for a seasoned Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of IT experience, with 7+ years dedicated to Salesforce.com solution architecture, development, and data modeling, and extensive expertise in Data Cloud projects. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce Data Cloud solutions that align with business needs, supporting a comprehensive view of customer data through Customer 360, and ensuring data governance, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Architecture Design: Architect and implement data solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically within Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer 360), ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
• Data Integration & Governance: Lead integration efforts between Salesforce Data Cloud and other enterprise systems, establishing data governance practices to ensure data accuracy, quality, security, and compliance.
• Customer 360 Implementation: Design and deliver a single customer view through Salesforce Data Cloud, enabling deep insights, analytics, and personalized customer engagement.
• Advanced Analytics & AI Integration: Collaborate with teams to integrate AI-driven analytics and predictive models, leveraging Data Cloud for enhanced business outcomes.
• Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on guidance for the development team, ensuring Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning solutions adhere to best practices, and efficiently manage data within the Salesforce platform.
• Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture: Engage with enterprise architecture teams on Salesforce Data Modeling strategies, contributing to scalable, maintainable data architectures.
• Deployment and Production Support: Manage deployments using change sets, Eclipse, or ANT migration tools, troubleshooting deployment errors, and ensuring a seamless production environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years in IT with 7+ years in Salesforce architecture, solutioning, and development; experience with data modeling specific to Salesforce.
• Data Cloud Projects: Proven experience architecting at least 3-4 Salesforce Data Cloud projects.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Data Cloud, Customer 360, MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud, Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Einstein Analytics) and data management platforms.
  • Strong skills in Salesforce integration (SOAP, REST APIs, Bulk API, Metadata API).
  • Expertise in data governance, security, compliance, ETL processes, and middleware like MuleSoft.
• Development Skills: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, workflow rules, validation rules, and data modeling.
• Certifications:
  • Salesforce Developer Certification (Platform Dev 2).
  • Minimum of 2 Architect-stream certifications.
  • Advanced Admin (ADM301) or Consultant Certifications (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud) are a plus.
• Database Management: Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, database schemas, and ETL tools (Informatica, Boomi, MuleSoft).
• Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams and enterprise architecture for strategic discussions on data modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Architect certifications such as Salesforce Application Architect or Salesforce System Architect.
• Experience in the healthcare domain.
• Familiarity with Salesforce mobile development (Salesforce1) and tools like Heroku, Einstein Analytics, and Radian6.
• Additional skills in HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., JQuery).

Key Competencies:

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven track record in data-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience coordinating onsite-offshore teams.
• Knowledgeable in Salesforce administration, including user management, roles, profiles, and security configurations.
