Roofing Estimator

Position Overview
The Roofing Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring accurate bids for roofing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing systems and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing projects.
• Measure and evaluate roofing materials and labor requirements.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and present them to clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure project feasibility and accuracy of estimates.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices in roofing.
• Utilize estimating software, such as EDGE, to generate precise cost calculations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in roofing estimation or related field.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with estimating software, particularly EDGE, is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
