We are seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team at UMMC Midtown Campus. The perioperative wing has 7-operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, and 1 cystoscopy room. We perform 90% outpatient surgeries utilizing the services of the University of Maryland Physicians and some community physicians. We average 500 cases per month.

We care for Adults/geriatric patients who may have one of the following surgery types: ENT, OMF, GYN, Ortho-Total Joint Replacements, General Surgery, Vascular Surgeries, Sports Medicine, Podiatry.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required.; BSN preferred. Up-to-date status on all mandatory training and classes.
• One year nursing experience. Solid knowledge and clinical skills.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education every two years.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $35.51-$52.64
• Other Compensation (if applicable): shift differential eligible
