Power BI Visualization Developer

We are looking for a Power BI Visualization Developer who will report to the Finance Team Lead, and who’ll be tasked with ensuring the reporting and analytical needs of the dealer network and sales team are exceeded. As part of your role, you’ll be helping design analytics dashboards with cutting-edge interface practices for ourusers' experience.In your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to influence and guide business questions, through effective digital reporting design and insightful visualizations. 

 YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Leverage Microsoft Power BI to create an engaging reporting environment for the dealer network and sales team
• Ability to fully assess data and quickly attack to provide insights by visually representing data 
• Ability to read and identify gaps in current reports/metrics/processes and work with appropriate groups 
• Design the layout and structure of MS Power BI dashboards and reports supported by domain best practices to maximize user adoption.
• Optimize and discover new design solutions for the current wallet of dashboards, reports, and scorecards
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve the analytics visualization toolbox and guidelines.
• Report on the progress of business impact for senior-level presentation
• Collaborate with North America Finance team, credit department and sales support teams to provide necessary analytics in preparation for business planning & update meetings and any other data needs.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Analysis, Data Analytics or relevant job experience is required
• Microsoft Power BI experience in a work setting is required (including DAX language and measures)
• Strong SQL skills - Writing and updating SQL queries to pull and transform complex data sets for analysis is required
• 3 plus years of hands-on data visualization experience with Power BI (and portfolio of work to share)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present processes and findings to a non-analytical audience

Preferred:

• Enjoys storytelling with data
• Strong desire to stay on top of the newest innovations in technology and business intelligence
• Innovative mindset and demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
• Interpersonal skills and motivation to work in an open team environment
