DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create Pixel art graphics (environment objects, characters and UI Items) for 8bit games
Work with documentation, compliance with technical requirements
Work with feedback and working with the lead artist
Create mood boards, concept art, polishes
Task Estimations and time trekking
Follow established workflow requirements, art pipelines, and best practices to maintain efficient art production processes
Communication with the technical department and PM
Preparation and export of art assets
COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience as a 2D Artist in the game dev
Knowledge of English
Knowledge of Pixel art editors, NES graphic editors
Good understanding of the game development process ( Technical processes/Basic Art Pipelines, Development and preparation of art for animation)
Ability to be proactive, and highly organized, with good teamwork skills
Experience work with Pixel Art
Experience in creating characters, UI items and backgrounds from concept to final render
Collaging and post-polishing skills
Freehand drawing skills
Basic artistic knowledge: Color science, perspective, construction of light, etc.
Independence and good communication skills. We are expecting a proactive participant in the project.
