Welder - Urgently Hiring
Compensation: $18 - $22 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift
Location: Yuba-Sutter Area
Job Description
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local agricultural equipment company that has experienced an influx of work and is looking for an experienced Welder for a short-term project. This position offers the opportunity to turn into a full-time role depending on workload and performance. We are seeking candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in MIG welding, with the potential to take on lead responsibilities in the future.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding, including forming, punching, and shearing.
Set up and operate welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
Use tools such as welders, grinders, and punch presses to complete projects according to specifications.
Follow diagrams and sketches to execute welding tasks with precision.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
1 to 2 years of experience in MIG welding or fabrication.
Experience with press brake operations is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
A positive attitude and willingness to work long hours if necessary.
Previous experience with agricultural equipment is a bonus but not required.
