Marketing Events Manager – Contractor/Part-time role

POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Events Manager Contractor will help build and manage our corporate and field events program.  Ensure thorough preparation, seamless coordination, and effective execution for all events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize and manage major industry events (RSA, Black Hat, Gartner Security Summit, etc.) and field and partner events that deliver strong awareness and contribution to pipeline.
• Oversee all aspects of event management and logistics to ensure high quality execution of all marketing, branding, and communications.
• Collaborate with designers on booth graphics, email templates, and collateral for events.
• Develop relationships with sales teams and channel partners to create activities unique to their audience to assist in driving revenue.
• Work and communicate effectively with executive and senior level management
• Support key internal events (Sales Kick Off, Advisory Councils, etc.,)
• Work closely with Product Marketing to develop event messaging, collateral, and demo materials
• Provide post event analysis, budget recaps, internal and client feedback and incorporate learning into future event plans
  
   
• EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years’ experience in events management (cybersecurity events a plus)
• Exceptional budget management, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated, articulate, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong teamwork
• Great attention to detail and focus on quality of results
• Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully.
• Must have ownership of work and be a proactive thinker.
• Experience with Hubspot.
• Some travel required
