Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.

Responsibilities

The lab of Dr. Xueqiu Lin in the Computational Biology program at Fred Hutch is seeking a highly motivated graduate student interested in deep learning and DNA regulatory codes. Applicants should have experience in bioinformatics and deep convolutional neural networks.

This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an applicable graduate program.

• Experience with bioinformatics and pipeline construction.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $19.97 to $48.08 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees access to a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked), and prorated paid holidays (up to 11 days per year).
