Job Title : Upholsterer

Pay : $13$15 per hour

Job Type : Fulltime

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring repairing and covering furniture and related items using various fabrics leathers and other materials. This role requires attention to detail knowledge of upholstery techniques and the ability to work with different types of materials and furniture styles.

Key Responsibilities :

• Measure cut and sew fabric or leather to cover furniture frames.
  
• Repair or replace upholstery materials including padding springs webbing and other components.
  
• Remove old coverings and prepare the furniture for new upholstery.
  
• Apply finishes such as trims buttons and decorative elements to upholstered items.
  
• Maintain tools equipment and the workspace in a clean safe condition.
  
• Read work orders to understand customer requirements and specifications.
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
  
• Provide excellent customer service when dealing with client requests and custom projects.
  

Qualifications :

• Experience in upholstery or a related field is preferred.
  
• Knowledge of upholstery techniques materials and tools.
  
• Ability to work with a variety of fabrics leathers and patterns.
  
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
  
• Ability to lift heavy furniture and stand for extended periods.
  
• Basic sewing skills and experience with hand tools and machinery.
