In this entry-level position as a full- or part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP), you support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Using effective teaching and mentoring techniques, you provide life skills training. You are always careful to model appropriate social skills and behaviors. Conscientiously, you keep accurate and up-to-date documentation including behavior sheets, timecards, service logs, personal assistance sheets, medication records, and any other paperwork as required.
