Responsibilities:
- Lead the service team to achieve customer satisfaction and profit goals.
- Develop and implement a service sales strategy to drive business growth.
- Maintain quality standards in the service department.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to shape overall business strategy.
- Build and nurture a high-performing team.
- Implement software and IT initiatives to streamline operations.
- Set clear team goals and objectives.
- Manage the finances of the Texas Service Department effectively.
- Lead revenue growth efforts through strategic planning and execution.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 5-7 years of commercial roofing experience, primarily within service and warranty.
- Minimum 3 yrs. experience managing a service department
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).
- Comprehensive understanding of various roof systems, including Metal, BUR, Modified, Single Ply, Coatings, Shingles, and Tile.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Procore or similar software.
- Experience in fleet maintenance preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred).
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights and proficient in ladder climbing.
Preferred Certification/Training: (or willing to obtain)
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Crane CCL certification.
- Forklift License.
- Manufacturer Training.
- Manlift Training.
- Rigging Certification.
- CERTA Certification.
