Position Description
Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time non-tenure track position in the Department of Periodontology at the Clinical Assistant Professor level. This position requires applicant must have a DDS/DMD degree (or foreign equivalent), completed advanced training in a CODA approved periodontology program in the US with teaching and/or private practice experience, and be eligible for full or limited dental licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
  • Supervising and teaching periodontology residents and implantology fellows in a clinical setting at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine;
  • Conducting literature reviews seminars as instructed by the senior faculty;
  • Participating in clinical research as needed;
  • Participating in the didactic teaching for the program;
  • Participate in training of Master's students; and
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Department Chair from time to time.

    Required Skills

    Requirements:
    - DDS/DMD degree (or equivalent)
    - Completed advanced training in periodontology post-graduate residency training from a U.S. accredited school
    - Applicants must be eligible for full or limited dental licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

    - Board Certification
